Running a business is demanding enough. Add a 10-month-old baby, feeds every few hours, long working days and the everyday unpredictability of motherhood, and maintaining your own energy can quickly move to the bottom of the priority list.
For Deepti Amin, slowing down was never really the plan.
A fashion designer and founder of HALEMONS, a children's clothing brand, Deepti manages a business while navigating one of the busiest phases of her personal life. Yet when she talks about her energy today, she describes it as being on “another level altogether”.
Her approach is surprisingly simple. There is no single hack she credits for it. Instead, she points towards consistency: planning her days, maintaining her routine and staying regular with the supplements that form part of it.
A Life That Demands Energy
Deepti has spent years building her career in fashion and entrepreneurship. Today, running HALEMONS means managing the many moving pieces that come with building a growing business.
Her responsibilities do not end with the working day.
With a 10-month-old baby needing her attention throughout the day and night, this stage of life requires energy, strength and, perhaps most importantly, organisation.
Instead of treating her health as something to return to when life becomes quieter, Deepti has tried to build it into the life she already has.
Consistency Became Her System
One theme comes through repeatedly in Deepti's story: consistency.
Rather than depending on motivation on any given day, she has created routines that make looking after herself part of the schedule.
“If you don’t plan your day, everything gets messy.”
That principle extends beyond work.
Planning helps her create room for her responsibilities, her baby and her own routine instead of waiting for spare time to appear.
For Deepti, supplementation is one part of that wider routine. She describes being consistent with her supplements alongside planning and maintaining the habits that help her get through demanding days.
Her experience is personal, and it would be difficult to attribute changes in energy to any one element of a routine. Sleep, nutrition, physical activity, recovery, health status and many other factors can all influence how energetic someone feels.
Healthy Ageing Does Not Have to Mean Slowing Down
Longevity can sometimes sound like something to think about much later in life.
Deepti's story offers another perspective.
Healthy ageing can also mean building habits today that help you continue showing up for the life you want to live, whether that means running a company, raising a family, staying active or simply having enough energy left for yourself at the end of the day.
The objective is not to create a perfect routine. It is to create one you can actually sustain.
For Deepti, that means three things working together:
- Plan the day. Making time intentionally instead of hoping to find it.
- Stay consistent. Following a routine even when life becomes busy.
- Think long term. Treating health as something worth working on now rather than something to address only when there is a problem.
What Being a Longevian Looks Like for Deepti
There is no single template for becoming a Longevian.
For some people, it starts with exercise. For others, it begins with understanding their biomarkers, improving nutrition or becoming more intentional about recovery.
For Deepti, it looks like building a system that allows health to coexist with ambition, entrepreneurship and motherhood.
Her story is not about finding extra hours in the day. It is about being deliberate with the hours she already has.
And during one of the busiest periods of her life, that consistency is helping her continue doing what matters to her.
